Hand Washing Activity Set

Handwashing is more than hygiene — in Montessori, it is a graceful routine that teaches independence, sequence, and care for the body. Children follow a logical order using real, child-sized tools.

Hand Washing Activity Set includes cream color items for hand washing the old-fashioned way.

The whole set includes:

• Tin vintage basin (9.5” diameter)
• Tin pitcher (3.5” base x 7” height)
• Tin pail (4.5” base x 5.5” height)
• Cotton cloth, cleaning mitt
• Small cotton apron (13” wide x 14” long)
• Soap dish

Presentation:

Invite the child to wear the apron and carry the materials to the work table. Demonstrate how to fill the basin, wet hands, apply soap, rinse, dry, and empty used water. Each motion is done with calm and control.
