Phonemic Awareness Kit

This kit will help isolate sounds in words that are almost identical. Children will sort these irresistible, life-like objects and practice recognizing the sounds in each word. They will delight in pairing up objects that vary by initial, medial, and final sounds. They will learn the difference between nickel/pickle, needle/noodle, and spoon/spool. Special cards graphically demonstrate which part of the word changes--beginning, middle or final sounds. Laminated word cards show spelling differences.
