Stop to Think Reading - 2 sets

Coach children to "stop to think" as they read these high-interest, vibrantly illustrated passages from many different literary genres.

 STOP signs embedded in each passage prompt for specific comprehension strategies.

 Designed for a wide range of grade levels, the content is suitable for beginning readers in first or second grade, as well as struggling readers at higher grades.

• Independent reading level: 1.8 to 2.6
• High interest/low reading level for Grades 3+
• Variety of genres: realistic fiction, animal adventure, mystery, folktales & legends, poetry, informational text, narrative nonfiction, historical nonfiction, biography.

Each Program  includes 12 folders:

10 different reading genre folders. Six identical copies of student reading passage are stored inside of each folder on which Teaching Notes are printed.
