Thinking About Mac & Tab Comprehension Workbook 1

The Thinking about Mac and Tab: Primary Phonics Comprehension workbooks and teacher's guide introduce basic reading comprehension skills using each of the 60 original Primary Phonics storybooks. Thinking about Mac and Tab can also help teachers assess their students' reading abilities.

These comprehension workbooks follow the same phonetic patterns as the coordinating Primary Phonics workbooks and storybooks.

The wh- question words (who, what, why, etc.) are taught as sight words as students work through the series. Students learn to sequence, recognize story elements, use context clues, and refer to storybook pages, among other skills.

Workbook 1 accompanies storybooks in Set 1.
